Ocean Heights is a purpose-built Care home, built to an exceptionally high standard. The home is sited close to Minster Leas Beach, a blue flag award winning beach with a long promenade that offers views of the estuary on the north coast of the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.
The home boasts beautiful panoramic sea views. Ocean Heights is set out over four floors and has 50 ensuite bedrooms. All the bedrooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard and have built in wardrobes and furnishings designed so there is everything you need to house all your belongings. The profiling beds allow residents to find personalised comfort and support for a good nights sleep as well as reducing pressure on vulnerable areas to allow for optimum skin integrity.

In total there are 3 dining rooms and 7 lounges where residents can sit and relax. Each communal area has hearing loop kits so that people who are hard of hearing (provided they have the telecoil setting on their hearing aid) can benefit from a clearer magnified sound. The communal spaces are tastefully decorated and designed for safety and comfort. The areas are spacious and light and airy.
Ocean Heights is equipped with a fully functional gym. Gentle exercises to help build up muscle strength with some light resistance equipment, can be used under the supervision and watchful eye of our qualified trainer. Our vibrant and fun cinema room at Ocean Heights brings our residents together in comfort to watch their favourite films, and end the day with a tranquil, relaxing, holistic massage in our fully equipped therapy room.
It is important to offer residents opportunities to remain engaged in society and with other people to ensure no one is lonely, isolated or bored.
At Ocean Heights we are always looking at ways to improve the quality of life of residents and regularly put on events or activities. This could be anything from receiving visits from local schools, quality entertainers, gardening and exercise classes, to name just a few.
